Slovenia is my home, and it is one of the most beautiful small countries in Europe for a wedding: the island church on Lake Bled, the Venetian streets of Piran, castles and manor houses, vineyards in Goriška Brda and quiet Alpine valleys, all within a couple of hours of each other.

I have photographed weddings at Bled Castle, Vila Vipolže, Brdo pri Kranju, Mestni Vrh near Ptuj, Piran and Portorož and many countryside venues. I know the places, the light and the people who make weddings happen here, and I am happy to recommend venues and suppliers.

How I photograph your day

At Bled I love the pletna boat ride to the island and the castle terraces above the lake; in the vineyards of Brda the hour before sunset is pure gold. I plan the day with you so there is time for portraits without missing the party.
