Thailand is a dream for a destination wedding: beach ceremonies at sunset, tropical gardens, island villas and the temples and mountains of the north. I travel from Europe to photograph weddings far from home, and Thailand is a place I would love to work.

My approach is the same wherever you marry: natural, documentary photos with gentle direction for portraits, so your gallery feels like the day you lived, from the first look to the last dance on the beach.

How I photograph your day

In the tropics the light is strong until late afternoon, so I plan ceremonies and portraits around sunset and use shade from palms and pavilions earlier in the day. Golden hour on the beach is short and magical, and we make the most of it.
